Don't be lured into believing you should retreat to your cubicle or home office today. We have some fresh takes on "cyber" gifts here in our "bricks and mortar" store. Fingerless gloves for texting outdoors, USB hubs resembling robots or Legos, cute animal earbud cord wraps, plus a few items crafted from dissected computers. So before the slow pace of the internet today tempts you to dissect your own computer, stop in for a visit and a REAL live chat.

...and crowded and chaotic inside the malls and big box stores. Our customers always tell us how relieved they are to enter our civilized and friendly realm. We have selected a variety of small-ish merchandise for our new "Stuff-it!" wall, things that will fit into Christmas stockings, tie onto packages, or serve as Hanukkah gifts. Whimsy will guide our choices and, as usual, the display will change often! We hope to see you soon, far from the huddled masses...and yes, we have gingersnaps, so please don't try to eat the scented pencils.

Motherboard Menorah

Recycled motherboards provide the base material for this eco-friendly, flame-free menorah. Each "candle" is actually a tiny LED light that comes with its own On/Off switch to allow you to light the candles independently. The included 9-volt battery provides the power, and the whole kit is packaged flat so it's easy to store and simple to mail. This is the perfect Hanukkah menorah to send to a college student or even to a computer-savvy senior in assisted living.

On Friday we begin our extended holiday hours through 12/23:

Monday-Tuesday: 10 - 6

Wednesday-Friday: 10 - 7

Saturday: 10 - 6

Sunday: 12 - 5

On Christmas Eve, we'll close at 4 pm and remain closed through the 26th

There is no "me" in Thanksgiving...

...but we think there should be. Take some time to pamper yourself in between those trips to the grocery store, post office, school, dry cleaners, garage, and airport. We are getting daily deliveries of fabulous earrings, soothing lotions and bath products, colorful scarves, and cozy coats. And if you need a little something to help 'justify' your visit, we still have a few Thanksgiving items left.

Deflect commentary about political parties, intense sports rivalries and "kids these days" with topics that you have selected by purchasing the appropriate TABLETOPICS conversation cube. Hanukkah is when?!

Oy vey! With Hanukkah starting at sundown on December 1st, you may still be eating leftover turkey and cranberries while you fry your latkes.
