For The Birds

New York potter Stephen Fabrico has branched out from potting only for humans. His Mission style bird house provides a completely functional abode for a feathered friend, while impressing their two-legged cousins (that would be us) with its beauty. The colors and organic geometry are true to the Craftsman style. Stephen's line also includes hanging bird baths and bird feeders.

Hagen-Renaker Miniatures

Hagen-Renaker started in 1945 and has attracted collectors ever since. Many of us can remember owning these when we were young, and today's kids love them just as much. Horses are a particular specialty, with many breeds represented. Dog, cat and other animal lovers won't be disappointed, either.

Passionate About Pollination

Come meet Denise Shreeve and learn how to attract beneficial native bees to your garden. These non-stinging varieties are extremely efficient pollinators, which will increase the quantities of flowers and fruits that you can produce in your yard.

Denise's interest in bees began as a quest for better yield in her garden. Through education and extensive research she has come to be something of an expert on native bees, and in the process she designed houses to attract and protect them in home gardens. Her complete kits are comprised of a handmade house, dormant bee cocoons & extra nesting straws for next year, all priced specially for this event. In addition, Denise will bring large ornamental bee houses made from recycled architectural antiques that make for dramatic focal points in the landscape.

This local gardener is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic advocate for native bee and plant species.

Architectural Aesthetic

Molly McGrath is a professionally trained architect. After using a laser cutter to make architectural models, she quickly recognized the machine's potential to make unusual jewelry. Sustainable woods and bamboo are precisely cut and suspended from oxidized sterling ear wires. The result is feather-weight jewelry unlike anything you've seen before.
