The Artisans: Just in Time for Valentine's

The Artisans is a fun and funky gift store celebrating 20 years of making customers happy. We love artsy, colorful gifts, jewelry, accessories, clothing, pottery, tabletop, home decor, stationery, and anything else that strikes our fancy. Many of our items are handmade, either around the corner by one of our numerous local artists, around the U.S. by nationally recognized craft artists, or around the world by Fair Trade artisans. We keep our shelves and racks well stocked with frequently rotating selections so that your shopping experience is never the same twice. THE BUCKET

We don't charge for labor for wrapping gifts from our store, but we do invite you to show your appreciation for this service by throwing something into the buckets at the registers. All of the proceeds are donated to charity, so please be generous.

So far this year we have given $1000 to Americares for their relief efforts in Haiti. Our new charity is Wounded Warriors Holiday Care who, in alliance with the Military Order of the Purple Heart, provides over 500 stockings full of presents and gift cards to injured troops at Bethesda Naval Hospital and Walter Reed Army Medical Center each year.
