Masquerade

You don't have to wait for Halloween to go incognito! My one-of-a-kind masks and crowns like to go to the Renaissance Fair, a masquerade ball or dress-up party. The base is a sturdy Italian-made neoprene mask that I cover in fabric then embellish with gems, jewels, flora and all manner of sparkly paints & glitter. Come try on a few alter egos!

Blue Palm Fiber Art

This is Suzanne Bellows modeling her own jewelry line: Blue Palms Fiber Art. The pendant and earrings feature batiked and hand painted silk smoothly mounted on painted mat board. She layers up shapely pieces, adding bead and wire embellishments. All edges are neatly sealed and edged. This style of pendant is suspended from memory wire covered with coordinating beads. No clasp means it's easy to put on - even for someone with arthritis or difficulty with fine motor skills. The earrings are wonderfully light, and some styles are available in clips. Suzanne's artistic sense makes for exciting color combinations that incorporate numerous shades that blend easily into your wardrobe.

Citron's Crane Dance

Citron Clothing of Santa Monica, CA designs the most sumptuous Asian prints on silk! These cranes are a classic example of their artistry: unusual without getting campy. This is a piece that is lovely alone over simple silky pants or a skirt, but that can be worn open as a jacket for a more casual look. The mandarin collar style with three-quarter length sleeves looks good on almost any body type. I've owned several of their tops and find that they hand wash easily, requiring only a light touch-up with an iron after drip drying. They fold to almost nothing, so are wonderful for traveling. $150

Cubes of Swarovski crystals in a myriad of colors & finishes are interspersed with bugle beads & shiny metal spacers to create a necklace that defies labels. It's as comfortable accessorizing a pair of jeans as it is gracing the decollete of an evening dress.
