Cotton Kurti

A Kurti is a simple, unstructured tunic that's versatile and easy to wear. In lightweight cotton voile, it makes a splendid cover-up for your swimsuit now, then can transition into a top to wear with leggings or - as shown here - your favorite pair of jeans as cooler weather comes. It can hang loose without bulk, or cinch it with a belt or sash.

Celebrating Color

Our new store design welcomes you with open space and open arms - not to mention that fantastic jolt of color! The lizard rug, designed by Virginia artist Sara Schneidman, is knotted of New Zealand wool. Intended to be a runner, we love the way it works on the wall as well. Supporting roles are played by Double Creek Pottery's matte glazed dishes and Kunstlerhaus Gallery's Wild Women pins.

Open for Business

It has been a whirlwind week of grueling work, but we are back up and running today. Stop by to see the transformation! Please be patient with us while we continue to add some finishing touches - we're always ready to tweak.

Here's our intrepid employee Cari finishing up the yummy amethyst color on the ceiling today. Those walls behind her got transformed today as well. On to the floor installation tomorrow!

Work Week

This is the week it all happens: new floor, new floor plan, new colors & finishes. Since we're a hand crafted business, we're doing most of this ourselves. Our staff has really stepped up and taken on new tasks to make this plan a reality. All will be revealed when we reopen next Monday!
