Beatriz Ball Collection

Soho cracker tray and matching spreader make a splendid set for entertaining. Hand sand cast of a special aluminum alloy, they have the color and high polish of silver without any of the maintenance. Chill the tray in the freezer and it will stay cold for serving appetizers like shrimp and smoked salmon. It can also go into the oven for hot dips. This shape would also make an attractive server for mixed olives or cocktail tomatoes. This is just one of the many shapes and sizes of serving pieces and utensils available.

Makin' Time Computer Clocks

More & more, recycled products are capturing our imaginations. These clocks from Makin' Time are crafted in the USA from old computer parts & accessories. The faces are CD-ROM's, which, as we all know, are lightweight, strong & have beautiful luster. The pendulum clocks can hang from a simple pushpin, while the clock to the right (shown here with a Hebrew dial), sits on a desk or bookshelf.

Vintage Style

What our Grannies told us is true: everything old is new again...vintage jewelry is hot! oblinaknit's Eliza earrings feature gold plated chandeliers in a pierced filigree pattern. Dangling below are brilliant blue Swarovski crystal bicones and a fuchsia chalcedony briolette. I suppose you could sip tea while wearing these, but today's woman is just as likely to wear these ladylike beauties out on the town!

American Arts & Crafts Chime

This chime exemplifies the look of the Arts & Crafts movement, from the rich bronze tones of the unusual square tubes, to the gracefully flared cherry wood top, to the Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired stained glass accent. The overall length from the top of the cord to the bottom of the windcatcher, is 21.5". It is tuned using the Golden Ratio, a proportion discovered by the Greeks, found throughout nature, and celebrated in Arts & Crafts style. $40

Perfect for Mother's Day

Ikebana vases are a beautiful way to present a simple flower arrangement. With just a blossoming stem or two and perhaps a leafy accent or shapely branch you can create a serene, elegant Japanese style display. These ikebana vases from Georgetown Pottery in Maine contain a pin frog (kenzan) that is securely epoxied in place. Just insert your flowers and add water. You'll be surprised how easy and lovely it is. If you're lucky enough to find an ikebana vase on display at our store with fresh flowers from our gardens, you may purchase it ready to go!
